We recommend this room to all players, as long as you don’t mind a some movement and lights flashing. The one thing we would suggest is to go with a smaller group-we had 4 people and we could see how many more than that would start to be crowded. Overall, we felt the puzzles were on-theme and creative, but we would have liked the solutions to be more varied and unique.ĭid we have fun? Yes!! Did we mention this room moves? We loved this room and had a great time solving puzzles and making our way through. Even though the puzzles had the same result, they were still logical and fun! We thought the use of technology in the puzzles was great, and we definitely appreciated seeing that. The puzzles were spot-on with the theme, but using the result in a more unique way would have added to the puzzles. As we were playing, we realized that no matter what puzzles we were solving, they all resulted in the same type of code, which felt somewhat repetitive. The other thing that really helped us feel immersed was that this room moves…and we don’t mean it’s on airbags and shifts a little as you walk, we mean the whole room moves! We wished that would happen more often, and they told us the plan for how that will happen in the near future, but we loved that part of this room.Īs far as puzzle design, we would have liked to see more varied lock-types. This room was well-made and used almost all of our senses, which led to us being easily immersed. The only thing we thought of to add to this was the scent of moth-balls would have added a lot. Walking inside the venue, you will find a blue wall on one side, holding the brand name and logo in cream color. Inside Lakeland Square Mall, you will spot the black name board over which the brand name is scribed in bold white. The decoration around the room was spot-on, it felt like we were in a Winnebago that bigfoot-trackers had spent plenty of time in. iPanic Escape Room is situated at 3800 US Hwy 98N Unit 126, Lakeland, FL. Upon entering the room, it truly felt like we were in a Winnebago (in fact, one member of the group asked if it was one). We were shown a well-made video to tell us the rules and backstory of this room, and we couldn’t wait to get started! In addition, there was ample seating and merchandise for sale. As we entered the building, we realized that there were decorations outside each door, so you know a bit about the theme before you even went inside. The building was easy to find, had plenty of parking, and the giant hedge “lock” helped us know the right place to go. Charles, Illinois, to play the Bigfoot Room (spoiler alert: it moves!). We arrived at iPanic’s new location on Main Street in St.
